Dior sets up in Mykonos
The new Dioriviera collection – reinterpreted each season – sets up its summer quarters on the island of Mykonos with two pop-up stores. Located in Chora and Nammos Village, they feature the summer capsule adorned by refreshing colours and the iconic “Dior Oblique” motif.
“J’Adior Mykonos”
After choosing Capri last year, the Dioriviera line sets up shop on one of the most beautiful islands of the Cyclades – Mykonos.
The capsule collection – launched in a first pop-up store on May 19th in Chora and then in a second one in Nammos Village on May 28th – marks the beginning of summer and helps you feel in top form thanks to its vibrant colours and chic yet casual design. Once again, the setting chosen by the Maison to showcase the creations imagined by Maria Grazia Chiuri – the creative director of the house – is idyllic and makes you dream of far away landscapes.
Dioriviera, the new capsule collection
For the occasion, the name of the idyllic place is proudly displayed on the line’s clothes. Taking liberties with the signature designs of the Maison – such as the Toile de Jouy and its iconic Dior Oblique motif – the prêt-à-porter, the leather goods, the shoes and the accessories are all the rage with their citrus colours.
Lime green and raspberry pink found their way onto the marinières, the Mitzah scarves (named after Christian Dior’s muse Mitzah Bricard), the j’Adior bracelet and the iconic Lady D-Lite and Dior Caro bags. Towels and bikinis form the perfect set to be radiant and elegant on the beach.
The essential accessory
You will need it to navigate the steep streets of Mykonos! The Vespa 946 Christian Dior – redesigned by the Maison’s creative director – showcases a sleek steel architecture and a graphic vintage look. Well dressed and motorized: the perfect combo to spend the summer at top speed.
