Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève 2010 Van Cleef & Arpels wins the Ladies’ Watch Prize

The mission of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève is to encourage creativity and introduce new watchmaking talent. During the evening event, ten awards were presented, including the prestigious Ladies’ Watch Prize, which went to Van Cleef & Arpels for the Le Pont des Amoureux timepiece.
On a dial of contre-jour enamelling, the Le Pont des Amoureux watch presents two lovers, each on a romantic stroll across Paris, which ends in their longawaited rendez-vous. A retrograde movement advances the characters, who indicate the passage of time until midnight when, together at last, they celebrate their eternal love with a kiss.
