Game, set, and Herbelin!
The Open 6ème Sens is taking place in Lyon from 28 January to 5 February. This is the second largest women’s tennis tournament after Roland-Garros. Herbelin is the event’s official chronometer for the first time. The French brand celebrates by providing three watches from the Newport Skeleton collection to offer the winners.
Herbelin, official chronometer of the tournament
French watchmaking brand Herbelin is the official chronometer of the women’s tennis event Open 6e Sens, taking place over eight days. Once again, the WTA international circuit makes a stopover in Lyon, at the Palais des Sports de Gerland. The best players worldwide are competing, among which Caroline Garcia and Alizé Cornet. The trophy will share the stage with the Newport Skeleton watches, the latest from the collection by Herbelin, offered to the winners of the singles and doubles finals.
A remarkable watch for outstanding players
The gent version of the Newport Skeleton won a La Montre de l’Année 2022 award in the €1,001-€2,000 category. It is now available as a 35mm ladies’ model. Granted, the original 42mm edition was already a great fit for smaller wrists. However, the achievement here is the detailed openwork on such a small piece. Like an open book, this steel model reveals the cogs of its automatic calibre, with a 42-hour power reserve. The lace-like, mechanical marvel can be worn by the finalists in the locker room or in the city.
