Bvlgari Bvlgari x Lisa, the new collab
The widely popular singer Lisa, a member of world-famous Korean girl group Blackpink, is one of the new faces of Bvlgari. The Italian brand’s watchmaking expertise and the star’s unique pop-rock vision joined forces to create Bvlgari Bvlgari x Lisa, an unapologetic, glamorous watch.
Lisa, the new Bvlgari ambassador
Known to the public as Lisa, Thailand native Lalisa Manobal is part of the world famous K-pop band Blackpink.
This girl group is a big deal: they are the most-subscribed music artist on YouTube, among many other accolades, and vocalist Lisa was propelled to superstardom. She is now one of the faces of Bvlgari, sharing with the luxury brand the same definition of femininity: precious yet assertive.
Captivating personality, iconic collection
The Bvlgari Bvlgari x Lisa watch is a perfect example of this definition. Born out of a close collaboration between the Italian luxury brand and the rapper, the watch is available in two diameters, 33 and 23mm. The piece needed to be just as iconic as the woman representing it, and the Bvlgari Bvlgari collection was the self-evident choice for this limited edition. Introduced in 1977, the maison’s signature line is defined by a round bezel, engraved with the 14 letters of its name, a nod to coins stamped with the name of the emperor in the days of Ancient Rome. A powerful heritage, a classy profile: the imagination of the luxury house’s watchmakers was given free rein to create a multifaceted piece.
A striking design
The Bvlgari Bvlgari x Lisa features a hypnotic sun-brushed dial – created exclusively for this piece – in a gradient of greens and blues, enhanced by subtle touches of pink and purple. The twelve diamond-set hour markers and hands in rose gold are the perfect addition to this picture, framed by a rose gold bezel and enhanced by a cabochon-cut rubellite on the crown. The model is powered by a Swiss made Quartz movement and its case back is engraved with an edelweiss, Lisa’s favourite flower.
The singer drew the design and discretely signed it with a capital “L” nestled among the petals. The exquisite combination of materials and colours makes for a successful little piece that is bound to go quickly – only a handful of fans will be able to get their hands on this marvel.
