How to get a summer body: wear your watch!
Rooftop cafe and breathtaking view of the Arc de Triomphe: that is the one-of-a-kind background of our two tick-tock fanatics' latest meeting. Frank Sans C and Jean Lassaussois wore their coolest shades to wow you with a selection of coloured dials, flooding most watchmaking collections. It's time for summer!
TAG HEUER, Carrera Date: bright and flashy colours
For the 60th anniversary of the Carrera collection – named after the famous Mexican motor racing competition Panamericana – multiple variations were introduced in a colourful palette suited for the summer. These two 36-mm steel versions boast sun-brushed dials in vibrant pink and in pastel green.
The bright colour of the very trendy first version pops and is contrasted by the rhodium-plated, faceted hands and indices coated in green luminescent material. As for the second version, it displays more understated tones of green in perfect harmony with the rose gold elements.
While the design is definitely a success, the automatic movement is just as impressive. The precise, high-performance Calibre 7 offers a 56-hour power reserve and powers the date display in the 6 o’clock aperture. At the back, the see-through sapphire caseback reveals the intricate finishes and carefully decorated oscillating weight of the movement. The Carrera Date, which is water-resistant up to 50 metres, is the perfect partner to hang out by the pool.

BREITLING, SuperOcean Automatic 44: dive into a sea of colours

OMEGA, Seamaster Aqua Terra Shades: to each their own colour
The Aqua Terra collection by Omega Seamaster is a multiplayer, known for its innovative performance, diving capabilities and urban elegance.
The dials of the new models from the Shades collection, fashioned from brass, are sun-brushed and become almost kaleidoscopic with their very realistic lacquered design. They pay tribute to the sea (Lagoon Green, Atlantic Blue, Shell Pink, etc.) and to the earth (Terracotta, Saffron, Sandstone, Bay Green, etc.).
Five coloured variations of each diameter (34 mm or 38 mm) were added to this collection of steel watches powered by the Co-axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8800. This calibre guarantees high quality, precision and magnetic resistance. This 34-mm version with the shell pink dial is no exception.
