A heritage of diving

Oris unveiled its first diving watch in 1965. Quite the avant-garde instrument for the time, it had a water-resistant case up to 100 metres, a unidirectional rotating bezel, and large luminescent digits, which guarantee a perfect visibility in any circumstance. In 2019, the Divers Sixty-Five came back in the spotlight with a resolutely vintage look: chronograph pushers, 2 subsidiary dials, bronze unidirectional rotating bezel with an aluminium insert, and beige hands and indices. Today, this iconic timepiece takes another look at the identity codes of the line while adding cutting-edge technology to the mix.

Hidden by a solid caseback, the Calibre 771 has a 48-hour power reserve and powers the Oris Divers Sixty-Five Chronograph.

Oris Divers Sixty-Five Chronograph: a beautiful diver

The new Divers Sixty-Five Chronograph maintains a versatile look through its casual chic style, perfect for diving through the city. The 40 mm watch has a steel case with a unidirectional bezel and a minute counter to measure the time spent underwater. However, its 100 metres water-resistance will not be enough for extreme water sports and deep diving – read the article “All you need to know about water-resistance of the dive watches”.

The jet-black dial is marked by two counters respectively situated at 9 o’clock and 3 o’clock. Powered by a powerful and precise automatic calibre, the chronograph offers a 48-hour power reserve. This watch has a steel bracelet variation and another one made of wild deer leather that comes from forests of Switzerland by an Oris partner: the Cervo Volante maison.
