Piaget creates a limited edition for Dubail
For the 20th birthday of the Dubail store Place Vendôme, Piaget creates a limited edition based on the Red and Black theme. Every dials of this limited and exclusive collection resume Dubail’s two signatures colors on iconic Piaget’s models Polo and Emperador Coussin.
Emperador Coussin
The Piaget Emperador Coussin has an assertive round watch personality whose originality is a cushion-shaped opening for the dial. This model with its architecture form signs the emblematic line of the Black Tie collection by its strong design and its avant-garde nature.
Piaget Polo
Iconic, the Piaget Polo watch is worked as a sculpture. This watch is Piaget’s genius creative spirit reflects; it is a racy and generous model in contemporary ergonomics. Created in 1979, the iconic Piaget Polo collection is recognizable from every others by its perfect integration between the case and the strap, highlighted by an alternance of polished godroons with satin surfaces.
Today, the Piaget Polo line draws its inspiration in the racy and technic codes of the Polo FortyFive line, launch in 2009 through choices of innovatives materials as titanium and ADLC.
At the height of Piaget’s historical high horology know-how, this limited edition highlights models with exceptional complications, like the Piaget Polo with tourbillon, with the Piaget 608P manufacture movement. Unic and revolutionnary, this flying tourbillon, whose cage is suspended on one axis only, performs a double revolution : a rotation on its own axis in one minute and a rotation around the dial in one hour.
This is the first limited edition created by Piaget whose project were elaborated at the arrival of Piaget in Dubail’s store Place Vendôme in april 2012.
