Richard Mille – Formule E
At the end of the 2015 season, the formula E team e-dams RENAULT won the Constructor’s Championship title. Richard Mille, who is the principal partner, shares the joy of the team and its founders Jean Paul Driot & Alain Prost.
Sébastien Buemi started in first position during the tenth race of the season in London, on the Battersea Park circuit. Leading the whole race despite the apparition of the security car, he was the first to cross the finish line ahead of Jérôme d’Ambrioso. This victory has allowed Sébastien to come within 5 points from the leader Nelson Piquet Jr but above all has insured the Constructor’s title for e-dams RENAULT ahead of Dragon Racing & Audi Sport ABT.
The next day, despite the bad weather during qualifications and a demanding race, the e-dams RENAULT Swiss driver finished 5th in the eleventh and last round, one point only from the leader Nelson Piquet Jr, seventh in the race and now the Formula E World Champion.
Richard Mille is delighted with the incredible performances of the e-Dams RENAULT pilots, Nicolas Prost and Sébastien Buemi, without whom the Constructor’ world champion’s title would not have been possible. The 231 points earned this year by the French team as well as the 2nd and 6th place of Sébastien Buemi and Nicolas Prost respectively, undisputed leader of Formula E.
The Jura based brand will accompany e-dams RENAULT for the 2016 season as the official partner.
