Coupe des Alpes 2019: a look in the rear-view mirror with Reservoir

For its 30thedition, the Coupe des Alpes has chosen Reservoir as official partner, a premiere for this young watch brand. From June 13th to 15th, this historic automobile event will set out from Evian near the Geneva Lake to reach Cannes, via Megève and Pragelato in Italy. One hundred and fifty participants of all nationalities will take the start, on board of a hundred of old cars from the 1950s to the 1980s, representing more than thirty different brands.

Created in the 1930s, this car rally brings together owners of classic sports vehicles around this shared passion. On the agenda: breathtaking landscapes crossings, ascents of the main Alpine road’s passes and gourmet breaks with a ‘so british’ picnics at the Iseran pass near Megève.

Reservoir celebrates this new partnership with a limited edition of 30 pieces. The Supercharged Sport Red Zone is a 43mm diameter steel version of the eponymous collection. Inspired by car racing and more precisely by retro car dials, this watch, with an original and vintage look, has the signature attributes of the Reservoir models : a retrograde minute at 240° that resumes the system’s lap counter, a jumping hour that recalls a mileage counter and a power reserve designed like a fuel gauge. Available on an interchangeable black alligator leather strap with red stitching or a NATO-type textile strap, this edition with a black dial, red zone and the Coupe des Alpes logo, houses a Swiss Made automatic movement, visible on the reverse side through an opening on the back engraved with the name of this legendary race.Price: 4 100 €
