Richard Mille, London recalling
The emblematic Old Bond Street houses the Richard Mille watch brand’s London boutique at the number 4-5, a strategic address whose reopening was eagerly awaited by fans of the brand and its atypical instruments.
Nestled among the largest luxury houses in the classy and prestigious district of Mayfair, this flagship store is spread over two levels and covers more than three hundred square metres, a space three times larger than before. ‘For us, the relocation to such a famed area that showcases London’s premiere eminence in the world of luxury is truly a milestone. With our goal of providing clients an ultimate luxury experience’, says Peter Harrison, CEO of Richard Mille EMEA.
Architects and interior designers have worked together to create a place that symbolizes the excellence and high performance that characterizes the manufactory, renowned for its atypical high-tech watches. Wenge wood parquet, cream wallpaper made by the famous French designer Sophie Mallebranche, fractured glass partitions and barrel-shaped atrium are just some of the elements that make this boutique a flagship address. Especially since it now incorporates the spectacular giant structure representing the RM 008 Tourbillon Chronograh engraved with lasers on a set of three glass panels weighing more than four hundred and fifty kilos and which plunges each visitor into the Richard Mille universe as soon as they enter.
Designed for enlightened collectors, passionate amateurs or the inveterate curious, this place dedicated to the brand’s identity has a library of art books published by Editions Cercle d’Art, the Parisian publishing house of Picasso and Braque now belonging to the Richard Mille group. A relaxing break that can be punctuated by a desire to observe the work of the master watchmakers in their dust-free glass workshop on the ground floor. Also equipped with a wine cellar and a cigar collection, the shop is open from Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm.
