“Happy” Art
An online auction is set to take place on Joopiter, the digital auction platform founded by multi-talented artist and new Louis Vuitton Men's Creative Director Pharrell Williams. It was curated by Sarah Andelman, founder of now-closed Parisian concept store Colette, located in Rue St. Honoré in Paris.
The two have been friends since Colette days and have collaborated multiple times for what became the trendiest concept store in Paris. Today, they meet again for the event “Just Phriends” which includes around sixty auction items.
All these art pieces, special items and designs come together in a kaleidoscopic collection. Most result from collaborations with household names (Richard Mille, Tiffany, Chanel, Domeau & Pérès, Louis Vuitton, etc.), artists and renowned designers (Jean-Charles Castelbajac, Xavier Veilhan, Les Frères Campana, etc.).
The auction includes a set of fifteen footballs decorated by Lebanese designer Mira Mikati for the Qatar World Cup. A collaboration with Hublot, the Official Timekeeper of the competition. Each piece is part of the “Hublot Loves Football” campaign. They translate the universe and personality of all fifteen ambassadors and partners of the brand. The designer met all of them and used these encounters as her source of inspiration and as artistic direction. Each of her creations contains the essence of its muse. From King Pelé to Kilian Mbappé to Marcel Desailly, Laure Boulleau, Didier Deschamps, Ada Hegerberg, Luis Figo, José Mourinho, Hervé Renard, David Trezeguet…
