  • EBEL 1911 GLOBE:

THE RETURN OF A LEGENDARY ICON

The iconic EBEL 1911 Globe makes its return with a modernized design. Originally introduced as the EBEL Voyager in 1989, this legendary watch has been reimagined for the modern era, masterfully blending heritage and innovation.

The original timepiece quickly gained popularity among watch enthusiasts and collectors for its unique, playful design and exceptional functionality. The EBEL 1911 Globe retains the spirit of the original timepiece while incorporating a contemporary design. The new model features the iconic world map motif with a mirrored finish and either rhodium-plated or yellow gold-plated continents, echoing the playful yet sophisticated aesthetic of its predecessor. It boasts worldtimer functionality, with the ceramic bezel allowing tracking of the local time in 24 locations representing the world’s time zones, including a “UTC” designation for global standard time. Powered by a Swiss mechanical automatic movement visible through the sapphire crystal case-back, it ensures precision and reliability.

The EBEL 1911 Globe watch is available in stainless steel or a combination of stainless steel and 18K yellow gold, paired with either a black or green galvanic dial and a black ceramic bezel. Both versions feature luminescent hour and minute hands and a date window at 6:00. The watch comes with an interchangeable calf leather strap, embossed with the iconic kissing “E” logo.

The relaunch of the EBEL 1911 Globe celebrates the brand’s rich heritage. This timepiece is a perfect blend of past and present, offering a piece of history reimagined for today’s world and delighting both watch enthusiasts and travelers.

Since its inception, EBEL’s success has been built upon the passion for innovation and ex cellence in watch design. Founded by husband and wife Eugène Blum and Alice Lévy (Eugène Blum Et Alice Lévy), in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzer land in 1911.
