Two years later, Piaget filed a patent for Calibre 12P, which set a record for slimness in the category of self-winding movements. Building on this historical legitimacy, the Manufacture de Haute Horlogerie Piaget has constantly pursued its groundbreaking work in the highly technical segment of ultra-thin movements. Out of a total of 29 movements developed by Piaget, the new Calibre 1270P is the 17th ultra-thin mechanism.
