Inspired by historical Minerva classic wristwatches from the 1940s and 1950s, the new Heritage product line combines the elegance of watchmaking past with today’s bold design codes and technology:
Vintage aesthetics include domed dials with two finishings and dots as indexes combined with 1940-50’s inspired colours such as salmon, smoked-caramel and silvery-white.
Fully polished cases from 39 to 42 mm feature curved horns with facets and are fitted with sapphire crystal glass boxes for an elegant historical look.

This sophisticated elegant aesthetic is reflected in the new Montblanc Heritage product line as each timepiece incorporates time-honoured horological know-how with vintage classical design codes.  The Montblanc Manufacture in Villeret — the former home of Minerva established in Villeret since 1858 —  has an extraordinary treasure trove of archives that provide both watchmaking knowledge and a constant source of inspiration for the brand’s creative and technical teams.

MONTBLANC HERITAGE PERPETUAL CALENDAR LIMITED EDITION 100
The Montblanc Heritage Perpetual Calendar features a brandnew manufacture movement, the calibre MB 29.22, that indicates the hours, minutes, day, date, month, moonphase and leap year in an extremely legible way thanks to its large counters at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock.  The movement took three years to develop and is composed solely of wheels, in contrast to most perpetual calendars that use levers. This enables the user to adjust the watch via the crown in both directions, making it far simpler to set.  
In addition to this, another new safety feature developed by the Montblanc movement engineers prevents the user from setting the watch between the hours of 8 pm and 12 pm, when any manipulation could damage the movement as the correctors are locked. The new Montblanc Heritage Perpetual Calendar is powered by a self-winding movement with a 48-hour power reserve and is also equipped with a very practical dual-time function and a 24-hour indicator, which are particularly useful when travelling.
Housed in a 40 mm case with a choice of 18 K red gold for the limited edition, or stainless steel for the regular edition, the elegance of the case is highlighted by refined curved horns, a domed sapphire glass box and a distinctive silvery-white dial.
