In 2023, the CHANEL Watchmaking Creation Studio presents the J12 Caliber 12.1, embellished for the first time with 18K yellow gold to enhance the style – at once masculine and feminine – of this iconic timepiece, available in black or white ceramic. The bezel and crown are in 18K yellow gold and the dial has delicate yel- low gold accents, with yellow gold-plated hands, hour markers and bevel.
For the first time since Arnaud Chastaingt, Director of the CHANEL Watchmaking Creation Studio presented the Caliber 12.1, the oscillating weight, visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, is plated in yellow gold, signature of CHANEL Watch- making.
