The company was the world\u2019s first to develop and patent a chronograph capable of measuring time to one hundredth of a second and, a few years later, to one thousandth of a second.<\/div><div><br \/><\/div><div>The movement (calibre) has been manufactured in Switzerland, partly in the Val de Travers, and partly in Le Locle, a world famous centre for the production of top-of-the range watch<\/div><div>components.<\/div><div><br \/><\/div><div>The calibre comprises a basic automatic movement to which we fit an additional plate (the column-wheel chronograph mechanism), entirely assembled by the master watchmakers of Les Ateliers L.Leroy in Besan\u00e7on, France.<\/div><div><br \/><\/div><div>Each Osmior automatic single push-button chronograph L.Leroy undergoes a series of final checks at the National Observatory in Besan\u00e7on.
