The emblematic watch of the Michel Herbelin French watchmaking manufacture, Antarès now reveals its brand-new look. Completely redesigned based on the original 2007 model, its refined architecture combines elegance and modernity. With complete freedom to change styles thanks to an ingenious interchangeable strap system, this jewellery watch radiating pure feminine grace comes with a collector’s box in a limited edition of 300 numbered pieces worldwide.

TIME IS PRECIOUS

Its rectangular case has been revamped, slimmed down, and remodelled for an undoubtedly refined look. Made of polished steel with sculpted facets, it features a bevelled bezel meticulously set with 70 diamonds (0.23 carats). Sparkling with a thousand lights, the bezel magnifies the pure lines of the dial, which is protected by an equally faceted sapphire crystal. With understated beauty, the dial features a background of real mother-of-pearl that shimmers in the changing light. Set off from the dial’s midnight blue colour, the Rhodium-plated steel Dagger- shaped hands mark the hours and minutes with sober elegance.

The novel metal bracelet features four precious rows of slightly rounded square links. Shimmering with reflections from the polished steel, it drapes itself ever-so-softly over the wrist. In a different yet equally exclusive style, the double-wrap velvet strap with Jouy print is in touch with current trends. With its more classic blue tone, the saddle- stitched double-wrap leather strap with crocodile print provides timeless chic in any circumstance.

Made exclusively for this exceptional timepiece, this trio can be added to over time. Wearers can choose other Michel Herbelin straps made with a wide variety of colours (no less than 30) and materials, with either a single or double wrap.

By combining precious materials with a Swiss-made quartz movement of proven reliability, the Antarès Limited Edition by Michel Herbelin gives prominence to luxury details. Made in France. Designed, engineered, assembled, adjusted, and inspected at the Michel Herbelin workshops in the Jura mountains of the Franche-Comté region, it has inherited the traditional French watchmaking savoir-faire passed down from father to son since 1947.

ABOUT MICHEL HERBELIN . . .

In the last century, Michel Herbelin founded his eponymous brand as an independent family-owned traditional French watchmaking company in Charquemont, in the region of Haut-Doubs near the Swiss border. Set in the heart of the manufacturing region of Fine Watchmaking – close to its main suppliers to ensure absolute control over production – the company has its own design studio within the workshops where watches are assembled. Beautifully made, in a price range from €300 to €3,000, Michel Herbelin watches are exclusively equipped with Swiss movements. In 2020, annual production reached 85,000 watches, with distribution through 3,000 points of sale across 50 countries. Heir to a watchmaking tradition stretching back almost 75 years, this Jura brand is spurred on by the passion of a family that has seen three generations take up the craft since 1947. Managing the company started by his father since 2010, Pierre-Michel Herbelin entrusted it to four young men in 2020, including the founder's grandsons Maxime and Mathieu Herbelin and two close members of the "Herbelin family": Cédric Gomez-Montiel and Benjamin Theurillat.
