Created in the 70s by the Michel Herbelin French Watchmaking Studio, the Fil is making a comeback! Minimalist in the extreme, this neo-vintage watch charms with its understated elegance.

PURE AND SIMPLE

Inspired by the brand’s watchmaking heritage, the Fil embraces principles introduced by Alvar Aalto from Finland, the founding father of organic design. Square-shaped with rounded edges, the stainless steel case with yellow gold PVD coating has no bezel, allowing more room for the dial. Revealing a silvered or black sunray-brushed background, anything superfluous has been done away with, so as to focus on what is essential. Four subtly tapering hour markers and coordinating stylised hands show the time.

The rigid strap adds to the refinement of the piece with its incredible delicacy. Worn loose or snug, it hugs the daintiest of wrists beautifully. Finished with links, the clasp makes it easy to adjust to the desired size.
