In this recently re-vamped and updated series, relaxed and seaside living, as well as authenticity and lineage, are the unmistakable core messages. This stylish and uniquely alluring collection for both women and men features a refined design and timeless appeal.
First inspired by a museum piece from the 1940’s, the Hampton collection blends a highly distinctive rectangular vintage case shape with architectural lines and features that reflect today’s casual living. The stylized Art Deco look of the line combines eloquently with warm-colored materials such as sun-kissed 18K red gold and weathered drift anthracite and silver color. The end result of the design and technical effort is a line rich with emotion and ready to time the most important of life’s moments.
Expressly for 2012, the Hampton Men’s line was missing just one attribute: a stainless steel bracelet. Thus, to complete the men’s line in style and to propose a duo offer complementary to the women’s Hampton metal bracelet watch, Baume & Mercier is releasing two new appealing automatic models with an ergonomic integrated polished and satin-finished bracelet with its new triple folding security clasp, which is not only safer, but also amazing easy to open.
Hampton’s “Moment”:
The significant moment in the development process of Hampton emerged in the technical stages. In fact, the challenge in the re-creation of this new sophisticated collection was in developing the appropriate tools to create the geometrically inspired series. Because Baume & Mercier adheres to a strict code of high-quality requirements for the shapes and finishes, the technical realization of Hampton was not a simple process. The technical department spent months developing the necessary tools to bring Hampton – and its entire elegance and generous attitude – to fruition.
