Arnaud Chastaingt, Director of the CHANEL Watchmaking Creation Studio, unexpectedly fulfilled this wish with the creation of the PREMIÈRE SOUND watch: a long sautoir necklace featuring a watch and... wired headphones.

An enhanced interpretation of the PREMIÈRE ÉDITION ORIGINALE watch, boldly connected to the present, capturing the moment and the movement of life.

Created in 1987, the PREMIÈRE watch is timeless. While combining the House’s icons – an octagonal case inspired by the stopper of the No. 5 perfume bottle, a flexible bracelet as a nod to the chained shoulder strap of the House’s iconic bag – it embodies a spirit of freedom and audacity unique to CHANEL.

True to this spirit, PREMIÈRE SOUND embraces the Zeitgeist while preserving its "jewelry watch" essence. Thus, the bracelet transforms into a necklace that connects in a click to a smartphone (iPhone or Android) or any audio device. Its headphones are equipped with a microphone and a remote control to adjust the volume, control audio and video playback and receive phone calls.
