PATRIMONY, A CLASSIC SCORE FOR FOUR HANDS

The Patrimony line captures the very essence of Vacheron Constantin, its heritage and its savoir-faire, patiently acquired over more than 250 years. It is also the symbol of pure elegance, a quality long associated with Vacheron Constantin.

With its round cases and timeless classicism, the Patrimony line harks back to the purest tradition of watchmaking. Its two expressions –Patrimony Traditionnelle and Patrimony Contemporaine – reveal two very distinct styles.

Patrimony Traditionnelle: This line is inspired by the aesthetic values which have characterised some of Vacheron Constantin’s most beautiful historical models. As well as expressing purity and precision, this new line embodies the fundamental values which are cherished by connoisseurs and distinguish the Manufacture’s most exclusive pieces.

A fine bezel, knurling around the caseback, which features a screw-down sapphire crystal, facetted trapezoid hour-markers – double at 12 and 6 o’clock – historically inspired dauphine hands and dials in several silvered tones, a case and tiered horns with clean, straight lines: the aesthetic features of the Traditional Patrimony line, expressed in a contemporary idiom, remind us that tradition and modernity go hand in hand at Vacheron Constantin.

All the Traditional Patrimony models meet these clearly defined aesthetic criteria. This is why this prestige line can house an automatic movement with small seconds and date as well as a Tourbillon Minute Repeater with Perpetual Calendar.

Through this line, the Manufacture’s engineers, designers and master watchmakers have sought to express the very best of the Vacheron Constantin tradition.

PATRIMONY TRADITIONNELLE SELF-WINDING

Where past and present meet

A tribute to the models made by the Manufacture in the 1930’s, 40’s and 50’s, the new Patrimony Traditionnelle Self-Winding watch belongs to a veritable watchmaking tradition. Its pure lines and balanced proportions forcefully assert its timeless character. With its fine bezel, knurling around the caseback, which features a screw-down sapphire crystal, facetted trapezoid hour-markers, dauphine hands and a dial in several tones, this model embodies all the aesthetic values of the new Patrimony Traditionnelle line.

Its 38 mm case houses the new Vacheron Constantin 2455 calibre with its small decentred seconds at 9 o’clock and date window at 3 o’clock.  And as unpretentious refinement and apparent simplicity are always accompanied by Vacheron Constantin’s exceptional finishing, the 2455 calibre bears the Geneva hallmark.
